I moved here in the early 90s, just after the USSR dissolved. My relatives were some of the first Ukrainian settlers in West Seattle. They arrived in the 80s and settled just up the hill from Delridge, south of Pigeon Point. When I joined them in the early 90s, we lived in White Center. Later, we moved to Pigeon Point and attended school in the Schmitz Park neighborhood. Now, my own family lives in the Admiral neighborhood.
